Berkeley Road

This project was for neighbours who lived in a pair of semi-detached houses in Bristol. They both wanted to add a storey onto their homes for extra bedroom space.

CGA submitted a householder planning application which was granted, followed by plans for submission to building control and Contract Administration of the project.

Special attention had to be given to the bricks that were proposed for the new storey to ensure that they matched those below. Existing tiles were salvaged to be reused and the window was designed in a period style to match the existing.
